Jim Berigan is a freelance writer and stay-at-home-dad, living in northern lower Michigan.  He and Jennifer have been married for seven years and have four young children.  Jim has worked as the associate director of a children's summer camp and as the principal of a private elementary school in Gaylord, Michigan.  For two years, Jim and his wife published Up North Parent, a free monthly family magazine aimed at families living in northeastern lower Michigan.
 
Currently, Jim is the managing editor and chief blogger for Top School Fundraisers, which is a website that connects K-12 schools with great fundraising ideas.  He is also a featured blogger on the Step by Step Fundraising site, as well as a contributing author for USA Fundraising.

In the fall of 2008, Jim will add "homeschool educator" to his credits as he begins teaching his first grade son at home.
