The Reader’s Digest Foundation has pledged to give away $1 million for the “Make it Matter” initiative!

Each month for the next ten months, Reader’s Digest magazine will publish a story featuring an individual whose inspiring story giving back touches hearts.  The stories will be featured each month in the new “Make it Matter” column of Reader’s Digest magazine, and may even be featured on The Today Show website!

The Reader’s Digest Foundation will then donate $100,000 in that person’s name to a non-profit organization that relates to the cause or story chosen for the magazine.
