When such a traumatizing thing happens to a child, it does not just affect them physically - it can scar them emotionally as well, affecting their self-confidence and ability to feel like a normal child.

Every child deserves to be happy and to enjoy a normal life. Locks of Love and Wigs for Kids are two of the organizations working to help financially disadvantaged children less than 18 years of age to receive a high quality hairpiece. These hairpieces are custom-made from donated ponytails and retail from between $1500 to $6000. Each hairpiece requires 6 to 10 ponytails.
