Look around your house. You surely have some items that you can sell. Most people have thousands of dollars worth and don’t even realize it! Why don’t you put all of these items together, take pictures of them and set up an eBay store  to sell them? eBay only charges a small fee per listing and a small percentage of the sale price.

Help at Work
Get your work involved. Ask them if they can have an “Adoption Day Fundraiser”, and plan out various ideas for the day. For instance: people can pay $5 to wear their jeans to work, you can also have a bake sale . Half-and Half’s work great as well. You charge people $2 a ticket, or $5 for 3 tickets. Once all the money is collected, you pull out a winning ticket. The winner gets to keep half of the money, and the other half goes towards your adoption fundraiser.

Local Businesses
Contact local businesses in your area. Perhaps you can get a hotel to donate a room for night? Or a spa to donate a facial or a massage? Or a dinner for two in a restaurant. Collect your prizes and then sell them. If you got a hotel room for a value of $200, you can easily sell it for $100. All these things add up.

Online Fundraising
You can even set up an online magazine fundraiser. It’s a fact that the average North American family subscribes to up to 4 magazines a year. So, invite them to purchase or renew their favorite magazine subscription at up to 85% off newsstand prices, and you keep 40% of the profit!
