Chocolate fundraisers are a fun and classic way to raise much needed funds. If you're looking for a change, but don't want to give up chocolate, here's an idea you'll really love!
You can create a chocolate bake sale fundraiser! Basically, on top of selling individual candy bars, you create some desserts made with the very same fundraising chocolate. In front of each dessert, include the recipe that specifies the number of candy bars needed to concoct the scrumptious treat! This is a win-win situation because not only do you raise money through your bake sale, but you also raise money selling additional candy bars. Here is an example of a delicious recipe you can use. Enjoy TIRAMISU Ingredients: 4 to 8 oz. World’s Finest Chocolate Semisweet Chocolate Directions: Grate chocolate coarsely by hand or in a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Beat eggs and sugar with electric mixer in double boiler over simmering water until tripled in volume and thick enough to form a ribbon when dropped from beaters – about 5 to 7 minutes. Chill until cooled. Beat mascarpone until smooth and softened. If egg mixture has separated, whisk it together and gradually blend it into the cheese mixture. Dip flat side of ladyfingers into coffee (or a mixture of the coffee and the optional amaretto) and line the bottom of a 9″ glass baking dish, or other comparable serving dish. Spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture over the ladyfingers, and then top with 1/2 of the grated chocolate. Repeat cheese and chocolate layers, ending with a generous layer of chocolate. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. |
